Updated over 2 weeks ago

What You'll Need

A 3D Model

Ensure you have a model in one of the supported formats:

  • Native File Formats:

    • Revit (.rvt)

    • SketchUp (.skp)

    • 3ds Max (.max)

  • Non-Native File Formats:

    • ArchiCAD

    • Rhino

    • Blender

Note: non-native files mus be exported as .skp, .rvt, or .max. You can find additional support on non-native file types here

Refer to our modelling guidelines to ensure your model meets the input requirements.

A Compatible Device

You’ll need a device to view your completed experience. Supported devices include:

  • Mobile (iOS, Android)

  • Tablet (iOS, Android)

  • VR Headsets (Meta Quest II, Meta Quest III, Apple Vision Pro - coming soon)

The Enviz App

Download and install the Enviz App on your chosen device. Note: The Enviz app and its feature set are not available on Desktop. Desktop users can access a separate i-frame viewer with limited functionality.

Creating an Enviz Space

You’re ready to create your first experience! Your first Enviz Space includes a 14-day free trial—no credit card required.

If you wish to keep your experience live after 14 days, you will need to enter your payment details.

Steps to Create Your Enviz Space

  1. Start the Process

    • Click Create Now to navigate to the purchase page.

  2. Provide Details

    • Enter the following:

      • Full name

      • Email address

      • Business name (if applicable)

      • Country

  3. Upload Your Model

    • Select your model file and upload it (.rvt, .skp, .max).

  4. Submit Your Details

    • Click Next Steps to finalise the submission.

Once your submission is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation email. If you’re new to Enviz, you’ll also receive a welcome email with login details for your free Enviz account.

Important! If you don’t see the emails immediately, check your junk or spam folders. Allow a few minutes for delivery.

What Happens Next?

  • Processing Time

    • Enviz typically takes 6-8 hours to process. For larger files, please allow up to 12 hours.

  • Confirmation Email

    • You’ll receive an email with your Experience ID, QR code, and weblink once your experience is live. To view, simply click on the link or scan the QR code.

If you don’t hear back within 12 hours, contact us at [email protected].

Editing and Re-Submissions

Editing Teleport Points and Dollhouse Views

  • Teleport points and dollhouse views are automatically generated but may not align perfectly with your model. To edit these:

    • Open your "Immersion Awaits" email and click Open the Editor.

    • Log in to the Enviz portal using the credentials provided in your welcome email.

Re-Submitting Your Model

  • Open your "Immersion Awaits" email and click Re-submit Model

  • In the Enviz Portal, select Re-submit model

  • Upload your updated file and click Submit to start a new conversion. Please note this will override your previous experience. If you wish to create a new one, you will need to start the process from the beginning. You can also look to create a new experience directly in the Enviz Portal. Check out the guide here for more information.

Important! Each experience allows up to two re-submissions. After that, you’ll need to purchase additional submissions.

Troubleshooting Failed Experiences

If your experience fails:

Creating More Enviz Spaces

Once you’re familiar with the Enviz portal, we recommend creating new experiences directly within it. This allows you to:

  • Create and organise Projects, which can group multiple experiences (e.g., variations of the same home).

  • Easily manage and rename experiences within each project.

Note: New experiences will not include a 14-day free trial. Payment is required upon checkout.
