How to Use the Guided Viewing Functionality in the Enviz App

Updated over a week ago

What is a Guided Viewing

Enviz Guided Viewing enables a Presenter to control a Viewer’s VR experience. This can be done either face-to-face or remotely. The Presenter uses a tablet, while the Viewer connects via a VR headset or another tablet or phone.

Face to Face Guided Viewing

In this scenario, the Presenter sets up both the tablet and the headset.

Tablet (Presenter)

  1. Connect to WiFi:

    • For iPads: Swipe down from the top-right corner.

    • For Samsung devices: Swipe down from the top of the screen.

  2. Open the Enviz App:

    • Select Guided Viewing from the top-right menu.

  3. Create a Session:

    • Leave the existing session ID or create a new one using a three-digit number. Share this number with the Viewer.

    • Adjust session settings (e.g., turn Voice Chat off for face-to-face sessions).

  4. Start the Session:

    • Select Start Session.

    • In the waiting room, select the project you wish to view.

  5. Control the Experience:

    • When the VR user appears on the floorplan, select the desired room and confirm the location.

    • You are now in control of the Viewer’s experience.

  1. Connect to WiFi:

    • Turn on the headset and create your guardian.

Tablet (Viewer)
