Get started with the Floor Plan Visualiser
Turn your architectural drawings into a 3D Enviz Space that you and or your clients can walk through. Explore the whole home to better understand its layout, room proportions and how the spaces connect.
It costs US$150 / AU$200 to upload your PDF plans, including one complimentary round of revisions.
The Floor Plan Visualiser uses AI to interpret your drawings. Your initial model focuses on the structure and layout, rather than detailed interior styling. You can then request corrections and add finishes using the editing tools.
1. Prepare your plans
For the best result, upload a clear PDF containing:
Floor plans for every level.
External elevations for all four sides of the building.
Check that you’re uploading the correct version of your drawings. Combine the relevant drawings into one PDF where possible. Remove superseded drawings and demolition plans so the AI can clearly identify the proposed design.
Your drawings determine how accurately the model can be created. If elevations, dimensions or other details are missing, the AI will make assumptions to complete the model. This may lead to differences from your intended design.
2. Upload your PDF and pay
Visit enviz.co and select Get Started.
Enter your name, email address and phone number.
Upload your PDF.
Check your details and the attached file.
Select Create order & pay and complete the US$150 / AU$200 payment.
This creates a walkthrough of the whole home shown in your plans.
3. Access your account
If this is your first order, you’ll need to set up with an Enviz account. Follow the account instructions sent to your email.
You can log into the Enviz Portal while your model is being created to get familiar with the platform.
You’ll receive an email notification when your space is ready. Follow the link in the email to open it.
4. Review your 3D space
Walk through the whole model and compare it with your drawings. Check each floor and room, paying particular attention to:
Room sizes, proportions and positions.
Missing or misplaced walls, doors and windows.
Stairs and connections between floors.
Floor levels, ceiling heights and voids.
Fixed features, such as kitchen cabinetry and bathroom fixtures.
Whilst the AI is amazing, it can misinterpret parts of a drawing. Your upload includes one complimentary round of revisions, so gather all the corrections you want before submitting that round.
5. Request changes to the model
Open your space in the Enviz Portal.
Go to AI Studio.
Select 3D Modeller at the bottom of the screen. This ensures your requests update the walkthrough model. AI Images generates images only.
Choose the 2D editor or 3D editor to mark where changes are needed.
Use the markup tool
The markup tool helps you show the AI where your request applies.
In the 2D editor, locate the area on the floor plan. In the 3D editor, move through the model until you have a clear view of the feature you want changed.
Select the markup tool and mark the relevant area.
Add a written instruction explaining what is wrong and how it should be corrected. Include dimensions or refer to the uploaded drawings where helpful.
Repeat for each area that needs attention.
Be specific. For example:
“Add the missing door in this wall, in the position shown on the floor plan.”
“Change the marked window to match the width and height shown on the front elevation.”
“Restore the flooring in this room to match the attached reference image. Keep the walls, doors and furniture unchanged.”
You can use either editor, or both, depending on which view best shows the issue. Markups identify the location, so always include written instructions describing the change.
Request a broader correction
If there are issues throughout the model and you don’t want to go through them one by one, you can enter a general request rather than marking every item individually:
“Review the existing 3D model against the supplied drawings and correct discrepancies. Use written dimensions and annotations, cross-referencing plans, elevations and sections where available. Preserve correct elements and make minimal reasonable assumptions where details are missing.
Check scale, room proportions, walls, doors, windows, levels, ceilings, fixed features and exterior geometry. Correct door hinges and swings. Where stairs are present, ensure they connect floors correctly with clear access, landings and headroom. Include simple skirting boards in appropriate rooms.
Recheck the completed model against the drawings. Ensure clear walk-through routes and correct any gaps, overlaps, floating objects or misaligned geometry. Complete all corrections in the model, prioritising architectural accuracy over decorative detail.”
Submit your changes
Check that your instructions cover all the corrections you want.
Select Request to add your instructions.
Find your request under Chats on the left.
Select Update 3D model to apply the changes.
Adding markups or entering a request does not complete the update. You must select Update 3D model to start processing.
6. Review the updated model
You’ll receive an email notification when the changes are complete.
Open your space and check the updated areas against your drawings. Walk through the surrounding rooms too, so you can check how the changes connect with the rest of the home.
7. Make further edits or add styling
After your complimentary revision round, further changes require AI credits. New accounts also receive 50 complimentary AI credits.
You can use further edits to refine the model or add colours, materials and finishes.
For clearer results:
Describe each change separately.
Specify the room, surface or feature it applies to.
Use the + button to attach reference images, mood boards, or fixture and finish schedules relevant to the requested changes.
Ask the AI to preserve the existing layout and other elements unless you want them changed.
AI results can vary, and a request may need further refinement.
Before proceeding, you’ll see how many AI credits your changes require. You can purchase a credit pack or pay for only the credits needed for that request. Review the cost before confirming.
